Because tomorrow's business and our economic development depend on the work our researchers are carrying out today, the Haute-Normandie Regional Council actively supports research and technological development.

The regional policy focuses on a number of priority areas:
- reinforcing regional research centres,
- supporting the technological development of companies by facilitating partnerships between public research, business and social work in particular,
- encouraging innovation and the emergence of high technology companies,
- contributing to the renown of Haute-Normandie by implementing research programs and networks, and by improving the equipment and infrastructures for research and technology transfer.
As part of the Economic Action and Employment Division, the Research, Technologies and NICT department helps researchers in Haute-Normandie implement their projects.
